PLDT DSL is freaking annoying! Terrible Service!

So today after 6 days, they finally get my internet connection fixed – sans my wifi router!!!  Now you tell me in  this modern age, is that even possible??  What about my mom’s laptop, my ipod, my PS3?  How do I connect them?  It’s utterly insane to even provide internet just for one computer.  Everybody in this whole wide world connects their Wifi Router to the DSL Modem.  It’s a natural thing in this age – but for PLDT who lives in the Jurassic age, it can’t be!!

They say it’s the problem with their network wherein my wifi router can’t get a valid ip address – I understand all of these quirks and whatever BUT DO I CARE? No I don’t!! As a paying customer for how many years now all I care is quality service.  Has PLDT given me quality service over the what – 3 years I’ve been subscribed to them?  I give them 70% plus an additional 5% for their hardworking technicians on the field who have to answer to those gajillion customers having the same problem as me because PLDT is using lousy jurassic-age network systems.

In other words, I HATE PLDT.  I’m giving them one last chance, and if I’m not satisfied I hereby propose to my mom to have the internet changed to Sky Broadband or Globe.  Now any of the subscribers from those two services got anything to say??

By the way, here are my results for the supposedly 1.5MBPs PHP999 Plan I have: (IT SUCKS)

Supremely lousy.  I really really hate the service.  Now they tell me that i should try from time to time to connect my wifi router to see if the network has been fixed and the IP addresses are being shelled out by their router at Garnet St.  Oh do I hate them so very much right now.  This is nothing personal, this is just business – they bill me to pay them money but they give you crap.  And now while typing this, since I don’t have my router to protect me and I’m directly connected to their modem I’m getting network attacks!
