I got this in my mailbox like some week ago. I actually started writing this blog last week, but only now do I get to post it.  So the sale was today and I was able to buy a skinny twister jeans at 50% off and swimming shorts for 50% off also! My mom bought a nice top, here are they:

The sale was tight, there was a lot of people, not as much as before so it was better.  Then the items on sale were okay I found a lot but I only really liked the two I bought!

US Military Airship

And how Final Fantasy they will be! Acting as overhead command bases!  Check it out over at gizmag.com.

Northrop Grumman has been awarded a US$517 million contract to develop the massive airship and present it for military assessment in just 18 months. The company is developing the LEMV to plug straight into the the Army’s existing ground command centers and will provide flight and ground control operations. According to the company release, the LEMV will “operate within national and international airspace” from “austere operating locations using beyond-line-of-sight command and control.”

I search for Milkshake and Fries, and I get a long huge hamburger picture so yummy, and of course it’s nice to watch scrubs too, such a de-stressing thing. Who doesn’t like Dr. Kelso, especially when he sings weird like in S06E06 19:55.

Samsung LA37B530

I finally bought myself an LCD TV! It’s a 37″ Samsung Series 5 Model LA37B530.  I bought it at Gadgets and Style at Shangri-la Plaza Mall for only PHP33,000 0% interest for 3 months, the cash and straight price is PHP29,000 but doesn’t come with a DVD player!

According to Samsung this LCD TV has the specifications:

5. 5 ms response time

But of course, it’s better to tell you what I thought of this product!

Samsung LA37B530

Okay so that’s my setup setup, I have my LCD TV, my PS3 next to it, and the DVD players and cablebox inside the cabinet.  The picture frame above is not aligned because I haven’t really totally fixed this area yet (I need extensions cords, which I already have).

First off, I like how the whole thing looks, fairly simple but matches the glossiness of my PS3!  I also like the way that the whole things looks bigger than other 37″ (are there?).  People say it looks like a 40″, and it could actually pass as one!  The remote is huge, maybe because it’s supposed to be able to control all Anynet+ devices, which is a good thing because I don’t have to be holding too many remotes.  The setup was fairly simple albeit you need two people, unless your hulk hogan.  Drop the Panel into the slot provided, screw the back, plug in and your ready to go!  It was really easy!

The image quality is superb.  One reason why I got this was it’s price range, screen size, and FULL HD combination was the best among those being sold in the places I looked at (Abenson, Megamall Department Store, Shangri-la, Robinsons Appliances, etc.).  At 5ms response time it’s decent but of course I would’ve loved to see them come up with a 37″ panel thats 2ms.  I think they reserve that for the 40″ and above.  I also love the dynamic contrast and the ability to control the darkness levels.  A lot of customization can be done and that helps me adjust the picture to the way I want to see it – I can make it as bright as a I want or as dark as I want.  The automatic energy saving is cool also, as it adjusts everything for you based on how bright or dark the room is and also based on the picture your viewing (size of picture, etc.).

The only con I can think of is that I would have wanted my PS3 and the LCD TV to talk together so I don’t need to turn on both, I would have preferred to use only the PS3 DS3 to turn on everything, since I just mostly play on this LCD TV.

Anyway this is the best reason why I got a LCD TV, I can take screen shots that don’t have those dark horizontal shadows!!!

I can’t wait to buy this on the US PSN store if it ever comes out!  Last Final Fantasy on the PS One!

I was a total addict, I had all the videos I downloaded online waaaay back and even made a website I’ll dig it up when I have the time, it’s in my old pentium computer -- all I remember was realplayer then was still a threat to wmp .

According to Kotaku, Europe won the day against US, since they got FF9 already!

Playstation 3 Silver Console

Move over XBOX360, Playstation 3 is taking over the number one spot!  Last year Playstation repeated what it did in 2007 and outsold XBOX360, and now is only about 4 million sales away from topping Xbox360.  With a bluray player and ability to play games it’s just so much a wiser and practical choice for the general consumer.  Besides, its more hardware reliable and comes with that prestigious Sony branding.

The Candaba Wetlands Center Design Competition is a contest for architecture, landscape architecture, and engineering students to develop a privately owned property within the Candaba Wetlands in Pampanga into a learning and communication tool for the conservation and protection of wetlands in the Philippines -- all housed in a Wetlands Center.

The top 3 winners were From PLM, UP, and UST.

1st Place went to Don Isaac Ramos, Jayson Ramirez, Rafael Antonio Alzona of the University of Santo Tomas, 2nd Place went to Suzette Corpuz of the University of the Philippines, and 3rd Place went to Jon Martin Abelardo Fernando, Lorenzo Arvelyn, Aclan Crisanto, Nacino Ula Pearl Guevarra of Pamantasan Lungsod ng Maynila.  Congratulations!

I have three fluffy pillows and right now it’s good I have because I don’t really feel good. Totally not a good time for my deadlines now. If only I could keep on moving them without expecting more work for the next day.

Anyway, my stomachs rumbling and I just have to keep still and relax. The battle is on the way and I’m sure that bottle of yakult and ocean of water I drank will definitely shift the tide to my favor.

I guess no more work for me for today.
